As well as being an inn, we also have a function room. The Long Room which overlooks the somewhat quirky village cricket pitch was named jokingly after The Long Room at Lords and contains a large selection of local cricketing memorabilia.
There is a decent sized and well lit stage at the far end and we can accommodate groups of up to 75 for meetings, conferences, dinners, and parties. We can provide a variety of table and seating arrangements to suit all occasions from simple rows of chairs in front of the stage, to board-room or banqueting table layouts.
The Long Room has its own, dedicated bar which can be opened as required, be it for 15 mins at the end of a meeting, or for a whole night of partying!
We can arrange for refreshments buffets and formal dinners to be served as required. There are four standard buffet menus, but we can offer a large range of combinations to cater for all requirements.
